Help other actors. Earn commission. Simple.

To bring in new members, I currently pay Facebook and Instagram for running adverts, as well as sponsored posts and all the usual online marketing machinery. These ads cost me a big chunk of each sale. And if I'm paying out money from each sale anyway, then I would much prefer to give that money back to the acting community! I would rather put money into YOUR wallet, than into Mark Zuckerberg's wallet.

And so I launched the Unbound Partner Programme (aka Affiliate Programme).

If you tell someone else about any of our courses, tools or community and they enroll as a result, I will give that "advertising money" to you instead. Depending on what community rank you are on, you will earn between 20% - 45% commission on every single sale that happens as a result of your recommendation.

The idea is simple:

You might be talking to someone about an Unbound Actor course or tool you use, and recommend it to them. Or you might be talking about the community and they show an interest.

As a Partner, you will have a unique link to give them. When they click on your link, and then buy a course or a subscription, you will get paid. It's that simple.

For every recommendation you make that results in a sale, we offer you a commission - a percentage of the sale you helped make.

If you believe in what Unbound Actor is doing, and you know other actors who could genuinely benefit from these tools and this community, then this gives you a way to share it and earn from it.

It's the ultimate actor side hustle, which doesnt require you to take your focus away from acting. You could literally be making recommendations while on film set, in the theatre, at your networking events, at script readings, in class, on social media, or just hanging out with your actor friends.

What is an Affiliate Partner?

An AFFILIATE PARTNER is simply marketing-speak that refers to someone who recommends a product, course, service or membership, and receives a commission if someone buys through their unique link.

It does not mean you work for Unbound Actor.

It does not mean you have to become a salesperson.

It simply means that if you introduce someone to Unbound Actor, and they decide to buy through your link, you can earn a percentage of that sale. It's a referral system with tracking.

Why we have a Partner Programme

Unbound Actor exists to help actors build careers with more strategy, confidence and control.

The usual way to grow a business like ours online is to spend more and more money on advertising. But YOU are already part of a real acting community. You know other actors. You know what people struggle with. You know when someone needs a course, a tool, a self-tape resource, a marketing system or a clearer way forward. You already are an "influencer", even if you weren't aware of it.

So instead of me spending all that money on ads to grow our community, I would rather create an opportunity for members like YOU to earn money from genuine recommendations.

If you help another actor discover something useful, you should be rewarded for that.

Who can apply to join?

Any existing member of the community can apply to join the Partner Programme once you reach:

2,500 STARS

This is because the programme is intended for people who have spent time inside Unbound Actor, understand what we offer, and are part of the community in good faith.

Reaching 2,500 Stars (Emerging rank) does not automatically make you an affiliate. It unlocks the right to apply.

Applications are reviewed by before approval. This helps keep the programme honest, useful and aligned with the values of the community.

Once you reach 2,500 Stars (Emerging rank) we will automatically check your community activity to see if you would make a good ambassador for us. If we feel you do, then you will get an email from us inviting you to register as a partner - if you wish. You can also apply directly by filling in the form at the top of this page (which will only become visible after you reach 2,500 stars).

How Can You Promote The Community & Courses?

Once you are approved, you will receive your own unique partner links (it will all get explained in detail if you are prroved).

You can share that link with anyone who may be interested in Unbound Actor courses, tools, memberships or resources. When they click the link the sale is tracked to you.

SPEAKING TO YOUR FRIENDS: If you have had a positive experience with the community or one of our courses or tools, it is natural to want to speak to others about what you are up to. Now you can speak to your acting friends about your experience, AND also earn money at the same time.
IN YOUR ACTING CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS: When classmates are frustrated by old and outdated showreels/ demo reels and low-quality footage, tell them about "Unlimited Reels". When they complain about not knowing how to put themselves out there for more auditions, tell them about "Pitch Yourself Before the Audition". If you're not sure how to prorpely market themsevles online, point them to "Actor Marketing Blueprint." You get the idea.
ON SET OR IN THE HOLDING ROOM: The most common conversation among actors on set is "how to get more work." Sharing your partner link isn't just a sales pitch; it’s giving a fellow actor the tool they need to jumpstart their own career. Instead of scrolling aimlessly during a 4-hour wait in holding, you could be securing the budget for your next headshot session.
ON YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA: Post a "behind-the-scenes" look at your latest self-tape or a snippet of a finished scene. Mention the great audition you landed thanks to some direct outreach or better marketing.

How much can I earn?

How much you can earn is purely up to how many people who you recommend our courses, tools and community to.

As you already know, you have the ability to invite people into the community for 2 months free access. That gives you the most amazing opportunity to make sales, because you aren't even asking people to buy anything. Your invitees will decide for themsevles if they like what they see, but it at least gives them the oppotunity to explore.

The standard partner commission starts at: 20% and runs up to 45% depending on your community rank.

As you continue to accumulate Stars and contribute to the community, higher partner levels with higher commisions become available. Partner levels include:

The exact commission levels and eligibility rules may be adjusted as the programme develops.

The important thing is this: the more deeply involved you are in Unbound Actor, the more opportunities you may have to earn as a partner.

What makes a good recommendation?

A good recommendation is honest, relevant and useful. You do not need to hype anything. You do not need to pressure anyone. You do not need to pretend a course is right for everyone. The best approach is simply to tell people:

what you used;
what helped you;
who it might be useful for;
why you think it is worth looking at.

Good partner recommendations should feel like one actor helping another actor find something useful.

What you must NOT do:

To protect the community and keep the programme trustworthy, partners must not:

make false claims;
promise guaranteed results;
spam people;
pressure people to buy;
pretend to be official Unbound Actor staff;
misrepresent the products;
use misleading discounts, fake scarcity or false urgency;
run paid ads using the Unbound Actor name without permission;
post affiliate links in places where they are not allowed.

If the programme is abused, partner access will be removed. Partner links are intended for genuine referrals to other people. Partners may not use their own affiliate links to purchase Unbound Actor products for themselves in order to generate fake commissions. The system is set up to block these types of transactions and to alert us when it's attempted. Self-referrals or artificial referrals will be declined or removed from commission calculations, you will get immediately removed from the partner programme and you may further be blocked from the community (while retaining access to any products you have bought).

Do I need a big audience?

No. You do not need thousands of followers.

You simply need to be able to make genuine, useful recommendations to people who may benefit.

One honest recommendation to the right person can be more valuable than shouting into the void on social media.

This programme is not just for influencers. It is for actors who understand the work, believe in the tools, and want to share them responsibly.

When do I get paid?

Commission payments are made after eligible sales have cleared and any refund period has passed. Currenly, that means we cannot pay until at least 30 days after someone has purchased a product, to allow them to refund if they feel the need.

This protects the programme from refund abuse and makes sure commissions are paid on genuine completed purchases.

Payment details and timing will be confirmed when you are approved as a partner.

How to apply

Once you reach 2,500 Stars/ "Emerging" Rank, your name will be automatically forwarded to our team to check your community activity and make sure you meet the criteria to be a partner. You will then either receive an email inviting you to register as a partner, or an email explaining why we didn't feel you meet the criteria. If you are invited to join the programme, then you will get a link to the registration form in that same email.

If you miss the email, or decide at a later stage that you would like to join the Partner Programme, then you can fill in the application form at the top of this page (which will only become visible once you reach the Emerging Rank.)

Before applying, please make sure:

you understand what Unbound Actor offers;
you are recommending it in good faith;
you are willing to follow the partner guidelines;
you have a PayPal account that can receive commission payments;
you understand that approval is not automatic.

Final note

This programme exists because I would rather reward actors like you, than pour every marketing pound or dollar into advertising platforms.
