Introduction to Tools & Software + Cost

In the next few lessons I'm going to intruduce you to the various tools and AI software platforms you will need to use in order to create your scenes.

I'm going to always show you two options:

1) The more covenient option (slightly more expensive) and

2) The cheaper option (sometimes more inconvenient).

This way the choice is yours, based on your budget. And you don't need to use ALL the tools presented below, only the ones that suit the route you choose.

NOTE: I am in no way connected to any of these tools or AI platforms. I am merely teaching you how to use them, and I have chosen these particular tools because they are the easiest and cheapest ways to achieve what we want to. If you have alternate tools you would prefer to use, then go for it.

What you will need:

A) An edit suite. You may already have an edit suit you use for self tapes, in that case stick to it. I teach Capcut in the course because it is the simplest and cheapest that also includes the AI-Magic buttons. However, if you already use a professional suit like Adobe Premiere, for example, you should have all the functionality of Capcut plus more.

B) An AI Image Generator

C) An AI Video Generator

D) Somewhere to get music and sound effects from.

E) Optional Extra: Somewhere to make "fancy" camera moves.

We combine B & C into the same tool, so in total you need 3 Tools (plus optional extra 4th).

COST

You may want to know: How much will all these tools and subscriptions cost you?

It depends on what route you choose. But if you go the cheapest route, you should manage for around $19 - $29 per month. You can make several scenes within that month, making the cost per scene $6 - $10 per scene.

I will go into each tool in a lot more detail in the next few lessons, and you can refer back to this page then, but your costs will break down as follows:

Image and Video Generation ¦ Convenient Option: OpenArt

You can subscribe for one month and get 12,000 credits for $29. And with those Credits you can make several videos.

Image and Video Generation ¦ Cheapest Option: Google Flow Studios

Subscribe to Google AI Pro (flow studios) for $19 per month and you get a lot more video credits than openart. You also get image generation with NanoBanana for free (With the Pro subscription). And if you have a student email address (.edu) you get AI Pro + 1,000 credits for free.

Edit Suit with built-in AI ¦ Cheapest Option: Capcut Pro

In the lesson where I show you Capcut, click on my link below the video and get a 7-day free trial. But if you already use an edit suit that is AI-capable then stick to what you have.

Music and Sound Effects ¦ Convenient Option: Epidemic Sound

You can subscribe to Epidemic sound for $8.99 per month and get unlimited downloads of music and SFX.

Music and Sound Effects ¦ Cheapest Option: Huggingface+ YouTube

FREE. Use Huggingface to get your music and Youtube to get SFX

If you want to go the absolute cheapest route (and you can set aside the time):

1) Set aside a few days, and shoot all your footage in those days.

2) Join Capcut for the 7-day free trial once all your footage is ready. Then do all your edits in that trial period. (FREE)

3) Use Huggingface for your music and Youtube for your Sound Effects (FREE)

4) Your only cost is your monthly subscription to either OpenArt or Google Flow studios. ($19 - $29, depending on how many tokens/credits you want for that month)

5) Cancel all subscriptions and trials at the end of the month.

COST: $19 or $29 for a month. And if you do 3 scenes, then that is $6 or $10 per scene
