Simple & Advanced Lessons

I know that there are two types of people who are going to be taking this course.

One group of people are the actors who want to go all-in.

Nearly all of you will fall into this bracket. You want to do big, cinematic, advanced scenes, and you want to know everything about how to do it, why you should do it and what effect it has. Because then you can go ahead and you can create pretty much any type of scene moving forward.

But then there are other people who really want to keep it simple.

Maybe you have a busy life, a full-on day job, maybe you have kids to look after. Maybe you just don't have time or the patience or the inclination to do the more advanced scenes.

Or you are helping someone else do the scenes - you might be the parent of a child-actor, or the partner of a non-techy actor. You are happy to do simpler scenes, and you just want me to tell you what to push and when to push it, and you don't want me to explain everything about how it works.

So I’m going to do my best to cater for both groups of people.

For some lessons in this course, going forward, you will notice there is a “.1” and a “.2”.

For example, a particular module might have “Lesson 3.1” and “Lesson 3.2”

Lesson 3.1 will be labled “SIMPLE” and Lesson 3.2 will be labelled “ADVANCED”

In the lessons that have two versions, the Advanced Lessons will be for most of you. You want to learn everything about making scenes. You want to understand it fully. Going forward, you want to be able to make any type of scene you can think of.

These lessons are longer and a lot more detailed. And in those lessons we will be doing the “Bunker Quarantine” scene - which I will talk more about in the next lesson. In these "Advanced" lessons I'm going to show you everything that you need to know about the various generative platforms or tools. I'm going to show you how things work and why things work the way they do so that, moving forward, you can figure things out for yourself, giving you more options and a lot more choices that you can make.

In the “Simple" lessons, I am literally going to show you what to do and what to push, and that's it. Just follow my instructions, do what I tell you, and you will have what you need. And for that, I'm going to use the "Cyberpunk Hacker" scene that you've seen in my marketing, and that I've referenced before in this course. I'm going to show you how I built that. It’s a very simple scene, and it's got a very simple process.

Where there is a “.1” and a “.2” of a lesson, you don't need to watch both lessons. You CAN watch both, and I would certainly advise you to watch both, because it'll give you more to learn from. However, if you're one of those people who has a busy life or you want to keep it really simple, then just watch the “Simple” lessons.

For all the lessons that only have one version, those lessons will apply to everyone, and in those lessons we will be working on the “Bunker Quarantine” script.
